I was recently looking at new properties, and one common theme I seemed come across was the addition of a compact radiator inside bedroom cupboards. The reasoning behind this is simple, to transform the cupboards into an airing cupboard.
Today, many boilers are huge, and in a semi detached three bedroom property they’re likely to take up the entire cupbaord space , meaning there’s no rom whatsoever for your bathroom towels or flannels. So by adding a small radiator to the back wall of your built in wardrobe or bedroom cupboard, you’re able to warm towels through, while there’s a place to dry your wet coats, hoodies or umbrellas.
It’s a simple idea, and it’s one that’s only being rolled out on new properties now, but there’s no reason why you can’t do it, no matter how old your building is.
