Old rollers and brushes may have also gone hard or loose paint, so it is best to replace them.

Floor Protection
When you are wanting to decorate your home, you want to make sure everything is protected, especially the floor. This is why you will need floor protection. This can simply be an old bedsheet, old towels, or a plastic covering. This will help to keep your floor safe from any paint drops and decorating mess.

Frog Tape
Another tool that people do not generally use but should is Frog Tape. If you are not a professional decorator you will know how difficult it is to get a straight line of all of your edges. This is where frog tape will help you, it creates a protective barrier, which you then peel off to create a nice straight line.

With some parents finding out the gender of their baby beforehand, it is easy to choose a theme that is more leaned towards the gender. When you head out shopping to purchase furniture for your baby’s nursery, you can be inundated with different options. But in hinds sight, there is more furniture being offered to you than what you truly need. The essential furniture for a baby’s nursery is essentially somewhere to sleep and somewhere to store clothes and nappies. Optional extras include a changing table, rocking chair and nappy bin. We found our changing table to be useful for storing the bits needed for a changing and bathing session, but we never used it for changing the baby on.

We’ve all been there, having a can of paint ready to use, yet no way of opening it. Going to our kitchen and using one of our own knives. Now, this is not the best option as it can damage your knife. This is why paint can opener is an excellent piece of equipment, helping you to quickly gain entry into your paint.

Old Sheets / Floor Protection
Having some old sheets or some form of floor protection on hand is essential when decorating your own home. This is because it is extremely difficult to remove paint stains from the carpet. Protecting this with something you don’t mind getting paint on it is the best idea. Also, have tissue or wipes on hand for if you do get paint where it is not meant to be so you can quickly wipe it up before it stains.

What is Art Deco interior design?
