As nice as it is moving into a brand new home, it can take some time before your personality comes through in your décor. That said, even if your home is looking a little on the plain side, there are a few things you can do.
Pictures
Getting pictures adding to your walls as soon as possible is a good shout. Even without a lot of furniture you can make your home feel more welcoming and colourful with artistic paintings or photographs.
Rugs
Rugs can prove to be an artistic addition to flooring. Your plain hallways can look more welcoming with a long running rug, whilst a doormat is a nice cushion for when you arrive home and walk through the door.
Clocks
Clocks are always handy and by adding them to your walls you can create more purpose and energy. We’d recommend you have one clock in every one of your main rooms, except for the bathroom of course.
